About

Hi, I’m Josh.I’m a proud dad and husband who’s happiest working with my hands—whether I’m tending my plants or shaping clay. Pottery is the craft that stuck with me. There’s something grounding about turning a simple ball of clay into something you can hold and use every day.I grew up playing in the mud, and not much has changed. Now I create from my backyard studio at the edge of the forest, where I handbuild, paint, and spend quiet hours at the wheel.I also host small, relaxed outdoor pottery sessions on my property, surrounded by trees and a bonfire. If you’re looking to slow down, get creative, and enjoy an evening in nature, I’d love to share my knowledge and space with you.— Josh

Lessons

Backyard Forest Pottery Sessions
A relaxed, hands‑on pottery experience held outdoors on my quiet property backing onto a forest. Small groups gather in the backyard with a bonfire, music, and plenty of space to create and unwind. Each session runs for 2 hours, from 7:30–9:30pm.
What to Expect
Each session focuses on handbuilding, paint‑your‑own pottery and trying wheel throwing. Groups are kept small—2 to 6 people—so everyone gets personal guidance and time to explore. There is one wheel available, so guests take turns while moving between handbuilding and painting.
All materials, tools, and firings are included. Each person can finish and keep up to 3 pieces. All pieces are glazed and ready for pick-up in 4-8 weeks. In cases of heavy rain or very cold weather, we’ll choose a new date together that works for everyone.Pricing
- 2 people — $85 each
- 3 people — $70 each
- 4 people — $60 each
- 5 people — $55 each
- 6 people — $50 each
Payment is made by cash or e-transfer on the day of your session. If you need to cancel, please try to do so 3–5 days beforehand.
It’s a cozy, creative experience—great for date nights, small celebrations, or anyone looking for a peaceful evening making pottery in nature with friends.
